EE Shroud Incoming h Damage (Trobglodyte and Moving Blade)

hi all,

just to share on a bit of testing on the EE Shroud incoming damage and my initial conclusion at this moment is either the dev tweaked the EE incoming damage or there's a need for absolutely no fail cc. 

I'm thinking 75 disco ball or EQ but would someone with the correct toon to test.

i found a liner from my combat log below on the only damage detail from a mob that i can find.

(Combat): Fiend-Blood Trobglodyte Warchief hit you for a total of 806 points of slash damage after 2 were blocked by Adamantine damage reduction.

I was blitzing with 209 prr, displacement on.

 

 

Seperately i went to test the moving blades, it's a scratch...

Also around 209 prr.

Combat): You suffer 60 points of damage from Whirling Blades.

adding on i had 224 fortification hence unlikely to take incoming crit damage

adding on 2 more diff type of mobs damage.

 

(Combat): Elite Orthon Defender hit you for a total of 434 points of pierce damage after 2 were blocked by Adamantine damage reduction.

(Combat): Fiend-Blood Troll hit you for a total of 728 points of slash damage after 2 were blocked by Adamantine damage reduction.

I saw 3k polar rays one-shotting me. dcs for enchantment were above 70; which I can reach, necro dcs of 80 were 50%-50%. my biggest issue: spell pen on the trogs.

am curious if piercing spellcraft from exhalted angel and from magister would stack as twists. if they do, halfaprodigy may have a chance of getting spell pen high enough. sitting t 51 right now, without any feats, all past lives, and +3 twisted from exhalted angel.

Spell pen for no fail, +59 before roll, so 60 is the magic number.  For LE Tempest, 66 spell pen.  DC high success enchantment ~79. LE Tempest ~83-85.  For LE Hound, it is on par with LE shroud, but orange named renders need 85 ench.  I found my 81 evocation was getting stuns off in shroud/tempest, but not in hound.

that's asking a lot from the caster, squeezing every drop of juice out from their mana n life long learning lol. it's extreme but i believe a truly spec cc caster can hit these numbers no problem but it's really very very specialized build.

i dun like the one shot really but i like where the game is starting to shift into looking at having potentially a need for cc, tank, healer, or half tank, half healer.
